I agree! We want to talk with you not just to you. So our goal is to be real and genuine and give you a reason to interact with us in person! We take our ministry and calling to Ripley and Brown County seriously, but we also realize that we are just people. So, let’s keep it real.
See, Christians are just people. We laugh, love, hurt, and cry. We break and at times are weak and sometimes we are strong. We are navigating life in a world that is beyond crazy at times.
Being real and genuine is sometimes hard to find in the world of churches. But if you find it it is amazing.

Headlines: CHURCH MEMBERS SOLVE PROBLEM
I heard abut two guys that were members of a church. They were a bit odd to some of the folks in the church. One day there was a commotion outside of the church. The two men asked what they were all talking about. They said someone donated this donkey to the church but it died right here in front of the church sign. The two guys thought about it for a minute and said we will donate five dollars to the church for that donkey. They said this donkey is dead, what are you going to do with it? They said we will think of something. The church was confused but glad to see the donkey go so they said ok, its your donkey now.
A few days later they saw the men who bought the donkey. The pastor asked them if they still had that dead donkey. They said oh no, we made $495.00 off that old donkey. How did you do that they asked. We raffled it off. We sold 100 tickets for five dollars each. The pastor proceeded to ask if the people were upset that the donkey was dead. They said just one, the feller who won the raffle, but we gave him back his five dollars and he was fine.
You probably know that didn’t really happen, or did it? Maybe you should come and find out.
Many people live their lives doing the same things over and over thinking that “this time” it’s going to be different, this time it will work out better. But the outcome seems to be the same.
